God's Promise Kept, Volume I

Category:

Nonfiction Book (Series)

Now published by Erben House!

Promises are made all the time in our lives. Unfortunately, these promises are not always kept, which can lead to distrust and misgivings. And sometimes, the most well-meaning person can’t come through on their word because something happened that they couldn’t predict or control.

In this first volume of a two-part walk through Bible history, the author shows through the events of Scripture that God’s promises are exceedingly different than human ones – when God makes a promise, it’s as good as done. In 52 uplifting devotions, Redlin recounts the creation of the world, Adam and Eve’s fall into sin, and God’s promise that He would send a Savior to take away the sins of the world. Readers will appreciate the author’s devotional format, edifying discussion of Scripture, conversational tone, and versatility for both young and old alike.

About

L. Dale Redlin

In addition to serving for more than 40 years in the public ministry, L. Dale Redlin wrote six books: God’s Promise Kept Volumes I and II, My Father’s Business, Sheep & Shepherds, Poems of Prayer and Praise, and his bestseller, It Takes Cow Chips to Make Dinner. About his writing, he said: “I wish to thank our gracious God for giving me the gifts and opportunity to write books. It has been my pleasure, to tell everyone how much He means to all of us.” While growing up in rural South Dakota, Pastor Redlin resided in Minnesota much of his adult life. He lived in Mankato with his family for many years and the Twin Cities in his final years.
